Upcharging sucks
Food was okay. But the server recommended the lemonade “special”. We said thank you. The bill came and the lemonade was $7.00 per glass (no refills). Up charging is inappropriate!!

Great Seafoods Restaurant in Half Moon Bay
The foods at Sam’s Chowder House were outstanding! We had clam chowder, crab cake, lobster roll, and cheese cake! Everything was absolutely delicious! The service we got was first class! I would highly recommend this place!!!

Crowded, noisy and lots of fun! Right on the water, although we sat inside at the bar. It was perfect! Grilled octopus (perfectly done, Scallops with lots of flavor and sauteed spinach that was divine! Michael, the bartender was a treat!
