Service was less than satisfactory and.
Food was fair. We tried coming back after a bad experience last year and were hopeful it was a one off due to a new chef starting. Not the case.

Avoid this restaurant
Avoid this restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and the prices are very high. In addition, it took forever to get our food and the waitress wasn’t knowledgeable. I’d rather spend that kind of money somewhere else!

"Incredible meal at Red Horse the popovers , clothesline bacon, lobster dumplings, and a perfect New York strip. The steak sauce is the best I ever had. Amazing food & service, but the best part? The company I was with.
Went to a comedy night.
All in it was a very nice. Food was as good as to be expected. Crowd was great and the drinks are top top top shelf Such a nice night. Highly recommend

I've been to David Burke's other restaurant before in the area, Drifthouse, several times and really enjoy it. I wanted to try Red Horse and it was a nice day so we drove down to the shore. It was also restaurant week so there was a prefix

Save your money
We went on Christmas Day and overall could not have been more disappointed. First, drinks came 45 minutes late - mid dinner and drink was incorrect. Appetizer bacon was cold, dry and tough. The "prime aged D Burke" steak for an extra pre
Worse dining experiences ever.
Wanted to have a good meal for our 52nd anniversary. Told out of clams and oysters after we ordered them. I was even asked if I wanted west coast or east coast oysters. Wife order shrimp cocktail after told out of clams - 3 for $22. Surf & tu
2 STRIKES YOUR OUT. 👎👎👎👎
I gave This place and its sister restaurant at Driftwood beach club DRIFTHOUSE , 2 chances each. The worst meals I ever had twice in a row each restaurant. Not worth the time the money and the expiernce 👎👎👎
Underwhelming
Terrible dining experience. The service was awful - we waited 20 minutes just for water. It took 45 minutes to get our drinks. We definitely felt like an afterthought. Very disappointed in service. Food was ok, nothing great - and when does a scallop

My wife and I have been trying restaurants we've never been to for restaurant week. Tonight we tried Res Horse in Rumson. The food and service were really good. The staff was attentive and kind. The parking lot was full so we had to walk a few blocks
Came here for New Years Eve and it was outstanding.
Super romantic atmosphere and superb service. Thoughtfully curated menu with plentiful portions. The chef even came around to every table to check in and wish us a Happy New Year. Can't wait to go back.
This location at Rumson, NJ is fabulous.
The ambience is wonderful, quaint , but yet there is a nice bar area to go and enjoy the best cocktails with your friends. Food is second to none. $50 for dinner on Sundays can't be beat... I'm a lobster girl so I went for the upgrade. Delicious! S
What a disappointment this restaurant was.
How a restaurant can fail at so many things in one time is remarkable to me. The service was so poor they literally were reviewing their order sheets at the table in the dining room area. They left food sitting on carts for 5 minutes or more becaus
This was the worst dinner experience I have ever had.
The service was absolutely terrible and it was a horrific environment to be in. The food, servers, and loud noises were terrible. We waited 2 hours for food just for it to be terrible. My husband got steak and it had sauce on it. It was not supposed
We wanted to like it more
We were excited to try Red Horse. Of the entire meal, we enjoyed two items. The bacon appetizer and the dessert lobster tail(which was delicious). Otherwise, the food was underwhelming. The scallops were completely under seasoned and the lamb and the
Amazing experience.
Great food, great service, management on point touching every table. Hidden gem!
First time here.
Was skeptical at first because I had an 8:15 reservation and when we got there they said it would be at least a 15 minute wait. I was preparing myself for it to be a longer wait. We were very impressed that David Burke walked over to us and said tab

Food was great.
Service was exceptional. Ambiance is great. I loved it for a special occasion. My guest were happy and we all wanted to return.
Visited the restaurant the day after Christmas.
Service fine. Despite the dining room only about one-third occupied, the room was extremely noisy--very surprising--made conversation difficult for the two of us. My wife, the "expert" on such matters said the problem is too many hard surf
Pretentious with a Capital P!
Pretentious with a capital P! I guess that should be expected when the chef --- David Burke --- names the restaurant after himself. Nice ambiance with a cool vibe, but that's it. The Wedge Salad is a $20 joke. It includes two Tiny wedges of le

DECOR AND PRICE DO NOT MAKE THIS A FINE RESTAURANT
Although we had reservations, we were seated upstairs at a very difficult table. Crammed between a staircase bannister and two other tables, we were bumped all night by serving staff, and on several occasions had a waiter's backside resting against

4.) Paiement & Protection
