Overhyped? Possible? Delicious? Absolutely.
Love the layout and view you get of the back house process as you enter. Dumplings are top notch. Bit of a gripe with some of the prices on things like the Garlic Green Beans but other than that it's more than just a "destination" rest

Our order was completely wrong (I'm thinking we got someone else's food). No one would help us out and bring correct food. Super frustrating!! Was not our fault we didn't recognize they brought wrong food out and no one would help us!

Food came out quickly but rather bland. Server was super friendly and engaging. Reservations are must. If not, brace yourself for a long wait. Very clean restaurant.
Food always hits the spot and is very consistent.
Sometimes it can feel a little overpriced and not as authentic as other restaurants. A must try is the rice cakes with chicken and their dessert menu.
Make sure you eat something before you go.
We had high expectations and had to wait for 90 minutes as it was Husky opening game so that was expected. Staff were excellent and well trained. We ordered 7 entrees and that's were the "excellence" ended. They all looked beautiful

Amazing XLB
Another great location for DTF. The food and service here is exceptional as always. The XLB and braised beef oodles will always be my favourite here. Definitely worth checking out when you're in the village!
For Chinese food, not recommend
Terrible food and terrible service. I think the chef is not Chinese. Very disappointed. I prefer give them 0 rate. Lots table there, still ask us wait. But I will try to others Chinese food later in Seattle and no more Din Tai Feng.
