It took us a second to find but thanks to yelp we were able to find the door. The ambiance of this speakeasy is beautiful. The waiter was very informative and really kind. The Japanese whiskey I ordered was phenomenal. We will for sure be coming back

It is located in an alley in downtown Detroit. Once you find the door you go in and if there are seats available then you can get a drink. The inside is pretty small so I would make sure to come early if you really want to go. The ambiance is amazing

Bad Luck Bar had been on my list to try for a while now, and I finally got to go last night, with my fiance and two friends. The drinks and their presentation were pretty neat. They start you off with a welcome drink, as others have mentioned here;
Quite simply one of the best bars in America.

Amazing bar for anyone looking for something not generic
We discovered this bar several years ago after randomly searching the area for bars to go to after dinner and we've been going every year since. The drinks are super pricey but ABSOLUTELY worth it for the time and effort they put into each drink.
