A new favorite restaurant in Dallas! Highly impressed with
A new favorite restaurant in Dallas! Highly impressed with the dishes here Highlights: Lobster spaghetti, Pesto Fusilli, Charred Octopus, Chocolate Custard Cake Lobster spaghetti was such a unique flavor with hints of saffron and turmeric and the chocolate cake was incredibly moist and was complemented well by the espresso ice cream and nutella crunch. Next time, I would try the clams vongole and seared branzino. Service was incredible as well. Food came out so fast and our waitress (Kristen) gave us amazing recommendations and was beyond friendly. Ambience was lovely too but just a little loud. I left this meal already thinking about when I could come back. Definitely intrigued to try The Charles now too Lobster burrata, Beets and avocado, and shishitos and onions were also good but not as stand-out as the aforementioned dishes

I've been twice and both times the drinks were amazing and food delicious and well seasoned (rare for Dallas). The portions are a little small but the flavor is there in every dish from the starters, to the pastas, to the mains. The staff is also solid and makes me feel welcomed. Plus free valet. The restaurant is a bit small so it can be noisy when it's at full capacity on weekends but I don't mind. Still overall worth it. Definitely plan on being a regular here.
I love this place.
You need to go right away. I recommend trying at least three starters. Two entrees. And two to three sides. Get a bottle of wine for the table... or two and enjoy yourself. The service is superior.

Such a fun place to grab a delicious dinner with friends or a significant other! The decor is very cozy and the food is all great! The zaatar focaccia appetizer was divine!
We went to Sister to celebrate a job promotion.
Service was wonderful; our server explained the tapas menu and recommended just how much we should order. My daughter ordered the pasta vongole; she said the clams were wonderful. My wife and I had redfish, which was really tasty. But the highlight was the roasted carrots. Who would have thought?! But we fought over the last ones. The dining room is beautiful and they have valet parking, much needed to be sure. We can't wait to go back, especially for the carrots!
Vibe is awesome.
Good drinks, food is a little odd, probably not everyone's cup of tea but it's unique!
I wanted to love it, but it's over-hyped.
Pros: Ambience, friendly staff at door, pesto pasta, and focaccia bread Cons: unfriendly wait staff, small space, noisy, only one single women's and one single men's restroom, weak drinks, shishito peppers were soft and lacked flavor, the lemon/raspberry dessert we had was topped with what I assume was supposed to be pie crust but was hard and tasted extremely stale. It was also my friend's birthday, and they were out of the free sherbet they said they normally provide, so instead they gave us mixed shots, which were so bad they felt like an insult. It's also extremely expensive. I don't mind paying a high dollar price for good food and friendly wait staff, but this just wasn't it. There's so many better restaurants in Dallas at a way better price point.

Super fun ambiance, delicious and unique signature dishes
Super fun ambiance, delicious and unique signature dishes make for a memorable evening out! Enjoyed the great service and attention from waitstaff. They happily give lots of good suggestions and dishes were served with great attention to presentation. Hope to return soon with more friends to enjoy their blend of tasty food and great cocktails too
Michelle was very charismatic and kind.
We were given all the best advice on food and drinks. We ordered perfectly with the advice of our server/bartender (I can't remember their name) while also having advice and a very generous gift from Michelle. Thank you Michelle!

Food here is unique and delectable!! Matchboxes that they give are so cute and valet is complimentary!! Love this place (if you can get a table).

I came back with a smaller group of people and had a really great experience. The highlights of the night included how great all of the service staff was. Our server gave such great advice on how to order, what to send out first, and gave me plenty of options for vegetarian dishes and each time one was brought out she let me know if I was able to taste it or not. We ordered more family style then got our own "larger plates" or "pastas" which I loved. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get more pictures of each dish since we dug in so quickly! The stars: focaccia (a must), potatoes, and the zucchini special. The olive tapenade that comes with the focaccia was arguably my favorite part of the evening. I would drown myself in this if I could. The only let down: we were so looking forward to the beet and avocado salad, but unfortunately most of us didn't love it. It was a little too vinegar-y for my taste, although if you love the flavor of beets I'm sure you'll enjoy it more than we did. We were disappointed because all the reviews said it was a must order! Honorable mentions: Brussel sprouts and green goddess Cesar salad. Both were great but more expected dishes compared to the others. My entree was the clams vongole with mushrooms substituted at the advice of the server (see picture). I really enjoyed it and the kick of the red pepper flakes, but I was so full from the rest of the food I didn't get to finish it! Luckily it was still delicious as left overs. We also shared some desserts, the chocolate olive oil cake was delicious but so rich, and the banana pudding was delicious. Again, I was so full I only had a taste but was very happy with how they were plated and tasted.
So yummy!! Such a cute intimate restaurant.
Most dishes are meant to be split "family style" so that's what we did. We had a group of 6 so it was the perfect way to share and try everything. The staff were all very friendly, professional and attentive. The restaurant is an Italian style with a Mediterranean flare. And there's a complimentary valet outside for parking. Overall it was yummy!

Heard many good things about this place and I think it was too hyped. I did expected amazing and got ok. Made reservation the day before and luckily they had a 5pm available. To early for most people but the time works when you have you kids. Had a couple plates to share and I love they have this idea so that way we can try more stuff. The star of the show was definitely the lasagna. I thought that was delicious but the other dishes were just so so. There are other high ends Italian places I'd prefer of this place.
We went for my daughter's 18th birthday celebration.
The service was refined in nature but casual in spirit. The servers know the food and seem to love the food also. The food was delicious. Descriptions of food are in pictures. The ambiance was also perfect: throwback decor that feels fresh and modern. It was a wonderful dinner. Might be my favorite place in Dallas.
Excellent Food, Even Better Service Ordered: (App)
Excellent Food, Even Better Service Ordered: (App) Charred Octopus - 4/5 - The octopus was tender and well seasoned. It went very well with the charred peppers and artichokes which also added sweetness to the dish. (App) Lobster and Burrata - 5/5 - The lobster was cooked perfectly. The burrata and the Calabrian chilis did not overpower the lobster taste. (App) Roasted Brussel Sprouts - 5/5 - the bacon jam and pickled shallots were amazing. That combination with the mustard seeds added so many flavors to the sprouts. (App) Roasted Baby Zucchini - 3/5 - This dish was a special. It was a bit of a miss because the although the zucchini was cooked well, the chili vinaigrette did not go too well with the tahini. Not horrible, but not a great combo. (App) Truffle Potatoes - 4/5 - The aioli was incredible. It had the sweet umami of black garlic and the saltiness of the parmesan. (Main) Moroccan Spiced Chicken - 3/5 - The chicken was cooked perfectly, however the rest of the ingredients on the plate did not have that much flavor. (Main) Pesto Fusilli - 5/5 - The pesto was incredible. Its not like one I have ever tried before and was packed with flavor. The goat cheese and sausage were also great and really enhanced the pesto flavor. (Main) Rock Shrimp Creste - 5/5 - Best dish of the night. It was a special that our waiter really sold us on and it did not disappoint. The asparagus puree mixed with the lemon butter sauce made for an incredible pasta sauce. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and very very tender. (Dessert) Chocolate Olive Oil Cake - 4/5 - Very light, with a strong olive oil taste, which was great. (Dessert) Banana Budino - 4/5 - Light, not overpowering and the caramel sauce was excellent. The food was excellent, but the service was even better. Our waitress, Taylor, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She knew what was in every drink and dish from memory, which was very impressive. As a whole, the rest of the waiters were also great. Every time they brought a drink or dish to the table, they explained it as well as listed off all the ingredients. They also took the time to look at the Resy profile for the dietary restrictions. They referenced those restrictions while we were ordering which added an extra level of customer service. The layout and atmosphere of the restaurant were unique and very well thought out, and reminiscent of a small family restaurant in Italy. Would definitely come back here.

I love Sister! Delicious food with fish and vegetarian options. Great wine selection and it's a cool vibe inside.
Love this place for a GNO with friends.
It's so fun to order a lot of different things and share among the table. The drinks are on point and strong. Highly recommend and make a reservation.
Recommend making reservations as the establishment is on
Recommend making reservations as the establishment is on the smaller side. They do offer complimentary valet parking which can get backed up since there is only two spots to pull in to. The service was great and our server provided a lot of good recommendations. With it being a smaller restaurant and being busy, it can get loud in there around 630pm. We had reservations for 5:30 and it was perfect. The food is meant to share so smaller portions unless you go with the larger dish. The lobster burrata was delicious, the hangar steak was cooked perfectly and had so many different tastes going on. The pesto pasta was also really good and came with big pieces of fennel sausage. The goat cheese was perfect for the dish. It's a good experience but I don't know if I would come back again.
Love Sister! What a beautiful place and so happy that it is
Love Sister! What a beautiful place and so happy that it is different from The Grape. There are several vegetarian options. They make their own pasta including gluten free which was so delicious. The texture was very good. I am not usually a fan of beets but ordered them as my husband loves them. Well they were delicious!!!I cannot wait to go back and try some of other veggie options.
Good food and good ambiance, but they overcharged us for
Good food and good ambiance, but they overcharged us for our wine our last 2 visits. This latest visit we ordered a $76 wine, but on our check it was $89. It didn't sound right and luckily we had taken a picture of the wine list to verify our wine price. Actually there wasn't even a $89 wine, the highest price was $85. Once it was pointed out to our waiter, it was rectified but this is the second time this has happened. It seems strange that they up-charged the wine price twice in the past few months. Good food, but I recommend you double check the wine price on your check before you pay.
Lived up to the hype.
Had a great meal. Would recommend all of the following: pesto fusilli, gnoccho Romano and the clams vongole. The focaccia bread was outstanding. If I come back, I will try the cheesecake or the banana dessert--the chocolate cake was nothing special. Taylor was a helpful and attentive waitress. Classy and fun atmosphere.
spectacular dinner at sister restaurant.
area is eclectic and vibrant at night. energy and vibes were great. food was really tasty but nothing extraordinary. our server was very attentive and has great recommendations. their focaccia bread and olive oil dip was to die for. paired with a dirty martini was my first time trying a martini. i think it's an acquired taste
Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere, but their team
Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere, but their team service approach puts them ahead of all their competition. They were always present, but never rushed us. Food wise, we tried the Octopus and Pepperoni Mussel appetizers, Pork Secreto and Redfish entrees, and Banana Budino dessert and all were excellent. It was a perfect celebration of our 33rd anniversary!
Overall food, service and ambiance was very good.
The appetizer and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. The service was good to very good. This is a very popular restaurant that was extremely busy but with great ambiance. 4-4.5 stars overall
The Christopher that answers the phone is an ass.
Canceled my reservation because of rude host.
The restaurant and neighborhood were really cute.
The service was fantastic. I would skip the eggplant dip for sure. It takes charred too far (no one at the the table liked it). Brussels (good). We also shared the fusilli and carbonara (amazing), hanger steak and branzino (very good) and the double chocolate bar (good).Make sure to make a reservation, as it is very busy. I will be back again with less picky eaters so I can explore more of the menu.Don't miss valet. It is right before the restaurant, but easy to miss.
I had the most amazing time at Sister! The staff
I had the most amazing time at Sister! The staff (Especially Bridget and Drew ) and the host (Barry, he's the sweetest) are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu! I love the revolving menu. The atmosphere and ambiance of Sister is unbeatable. Don't pass on the Banana Budino, I'll dream about it! Thanks Sister!

The food here was novel - with little twists in flavors and unexpected texture combinations that were so fantastic. Everything we had was truly delightful and the ambience of the place was lovely. We will definitely be back!
Went here for the first time last night.
It will not be our last! The atmosphere is fun, yet intimate. The service is beyond accommodating: bartender was quick and attentive, host friendly, waitstaff was knowledgeable and professional. And the food...every bite was better than the last. New favorite place!!! (Only wish I'd taking pictures!!!!)
5 stars for the ambiance and setting.
The food was really good, portions were a bit tight for my liking. The burrata with lobster served about 6 teaspoon bites, and the pasta plates also served about 6-7 bites, for context. Nevertheless the combinations were delicious, the service was great. We arrived about 2mins late for our reservation and waited at the bar for about 10mins, bar was pretty crowded but cocktails were worth it. Would 100% recommend and will come back to try more of their menu!
Great Dinner!
Wonderful fresh menu. Everything we ordered was perfect! It was SO GOOD! The service was also friendly, helpful and just right. A great night out for two tired parents! Relaxing, not loud, good food - Thank you!
Good night out
Went here recently for dinner with adult family members. Its odd because the restaurant looks upscale in the interior, but has average hamburgers on the menu. The salads were fine. The hamburger one family member had was good. The fish entree was fine, but the redfish portion seemed small for the price. The dish a third person had was not remotely memorable. The service was fine. The desert crumble was good. The food was not up to the promise of the interior decorating.
