We have dined here twice in the past year.
I prefer the winter menu to the the more recent spring visit, but both were innovative and delicious. The winter menu was a bit heartier and mushroom forward whereas the spring was much lighter. The service is not as great as anticipated for a Michel

I treated myself to a solo date at Oyster Oyster.
My reservation was right at opening and was seated upon arrival. Prior to my reservation, the restaurant reached out to ask about my dietary restrictions. Oyster Oyster is mostly vegetarian, but they also serve oysters. They wanted to know if I wan
Solid three (yelp) star fine dining in DC.
The kitchen demonstrates solid technique. However, front of the house fails to deliver. Service was disjointed and the sommelier particularly disappointed. Space is small and casual. For a date night go with a later seating, restaurant has a wall of

I loved my experience here.
I took my mom out for her birthday dinner. We are both vegetarian, so having a fine dining spot that is dedicated to that is a dream. Every single course was amazing. The presentation, the balance of flavors, the source of the food, and even the port

My husband and I are big meat eaters, but we really enjoyed their vegetarian-predominant menu. At $135/person, you can choose between an all-vegetarian menu or to substitute one of the amuse bouches with a raw oyster (the seafood kind). I am not a

The food was delicious to be sure, but also throughly inventive and appealing to the senses in every way. One has hardly ever described vegetables as star ingredients and savored every bite and delighted in the different textures and essences but her
It was absolutely scrumptious and worth every penny.
I'm not vegetarian and thought I'd miss the meat, but nope! Also, it's adorable inside and all the staff were so sweet.

While the food was great, we were charged for an additional tip we did not authorize (there is a 22% fee added, which we felt to be sufficient). After contacting the restaurant, their response was to "refund" the unauthorized charge. Incred
This place is fine.
I think the Michelin star gets hopes up. For someone who eats a lot of vegetarian food, nothing was all that new or exciting, unfortunately. There was literally 1 oyster in 1 dish the entire night. Just seemed like more of a gimmick than anything el
Love this place! The marigold 'butter' is amazing.
The restaurant is quite small, and watching the staff move through it is like watching a choreographed dance. It's a nice place to go to for a special date night, like an anniversary or a birthday. If they are booked up (which is a regular occurrence
I visited Oyster Oyster for a special menu dinner.
The food, wine pairing, and service were all excellent. I also appreciate their mission to be more sustainable and locally sourced. Your menu might vary, but we got dishes like: - fried celery root nest - a small bite, excellently fried, very tasty

Wow, so deserving of that Michelin star!!I had high expectations going into oyster oyster for my husbands birthday dinner, and I'd say it even exceeded them. We are what I may call flexitarians, but if veg food was always this delicious it would make
This is an experience.
I loved every moment of it. I felt like I was anywhere but in DC. Do the wine pairing. Every dish on the menu was thoughtful; every drink paired perfectly. This is what creative plant-based food looks like.

Won't get into the menu too much because it rotates but I'll say I've never been a huge veggie guy, and the thought of a meal without meat was questionable but I didn't miss it at all and throughly enjoyed the whole meal. Favorite was probably the mu

I have anticipated oyster oyster for a bit now.
Reservations were quite difficult. Overall loved the environment, food was BEAUTIFULLY prepared, delicious, and the wine pairing was lovely. Service was casual and comfortable. Zero complaints. It was a really great trendy spot for date night! Minus
Enjoyed dinner here while in DC.
It is a prepay/price fix venue. The atmosphere is nice- it's small and you are near the open kitchen- a cool concept especially for the foodie. The service was nice and professional- not quite as personal as I like but very efficient. It is strictly
In a word, forgettable.
To be fair, wine list had a number of interesting choices at all price points. Service was perfunctory. Frankly, the only 2 dishes we both remembered were the mushroom broth (though served luke warm), and the bread and "butter" service.
One word for this dinner.
... DIVINE! I had been wanting to try the infamous Oyster Oyster since I first heard of them last year but could never find a date that worked with my schedule. On a whim, I checked Resy and snagged one of the few Saturdays I could find. I AM SO glad
