Food Was Great! 7 Layer cake is AMAZING!! Service Was Great Coffee was great would definitely come here again
Expect to wait a long time to be seated.
No matter what time you make your reservation for the wait will be 1-1.5 hours. The staff up front will lie and lie to you so just expect a long wait. We were promised to sit within 20 minutes, 5 more minutes, just waiting for someone to leave their table for well over an hour. When it comes to the food the steaks are solid but my fish was cold and uncooked. I could not eat it. Prices were a bit on the high side but you can find reasonable items on the menu. The sides were solid. The ambiance can be noisy. There is no place to sit and wait your one hour plus to get a table and the bar is difficult to navigate to get a drink. I feel the lobby is poorly designed and I felt bad for the poor people on the table tops with so many people standing around them waiting for their tables while they try to eat. Overall Nick and Sam's is over rated and not worth the visit.
I've been here multiple times and it was good in the past.
But i just went there for my birthday this last time and it was a total joke. I was hoping to show my friends a good time who frequent steakhouses (specifically from out of town). The table was nice but I'll be honest about this place: 1. We spent over a thousand for mediocre and annoying service. They even tried to take my friends plate twice when she wasn't done eating. We had at least 5 different people hoarding over us the whole time almost trying to rush us. (We were there for maybe 1.5 hours). 2. The tables are so close together it's like walking a maze to get to get in and out. They are definitely trying to just make some $$$ cramming everyone together. We had to walk way around the outside of the room to get to the restroom that was 4 tables over. Also they knew it was birthday and engagement celebration with girlfriends. And there was zero effort in this. Honestly this is the first time I've been and realized how over hyped it is. You might see a celebrity or 2 but if you want a quality stake that isn't insanely salty - Do yourself a favor and go to Bobs or Perry's for better steak quality. I don't usually give bad reviews but this...was pathetic when you're paying over a thousand for a bill. I am not one who complains - this was pretty awful. At least we had a good photo?
Excellent service and vibe.
Wait staff was excellent and attentive. Food was exceptional.
Cracking evening with first class food and wine.
Fun, charming staff and possibly the best steaks in Texas. The atmosphere is always incredible and the restaurant constantly busy with a wonderful buzz that isn’t overbearing. The service team cannot do enough for you and as I done previously asked for something not on the menu and it has been managed without question. Well done as always.
Had been moving and was really too tired to get dressed in
Had been moving and was really too tired to get dressed in my "I want to look fake" Dallas attire. Wore jeans and others with me were wearing jeans. You would have thought a group of homeless people had entered through the doors. Valet had no problem parking my Tesla or my friends Raptor, but the hostess and waitress definitely had issues. Growing up in a family of restaurant owners, I learned at a young age some of the worst dressed were the nicest, easiest to wait on, and biggest tippers. Thankfully I can afford to, and will, go elsewhere.
My reservation was at 9pm.
we didn't get seated until 940. Im a Muslim man and was going to break my fast here. I was wearing my Kufi. Right when we were seated I was told by the manager I had to take off my hat. I told him it was for religious purposes. They refused to serve me because of it. My wife and I left immediately. Just sad. Hostess should have said something as we waited 40 minutes in front of them for our table. Could have saved us time and disappointment.
Booked Easter brunch for four.
Very disappointing. Food out for hours and not refreshed, poor service when all wait staff had to manage was drinks, as for dessert table....the photos speak for themselves, no response from restaurant.

We were super excited to get a chance to try Nick and Sam's Steakhouse. 1 we have never tried caviar and to try it for free for the first time in your life? Yes please! To be fair it was not sturgeon but hello it was free and it wasn't bad! We liked it so much we paid for the mid priced sturgeon caviar to bring home with us and it came with all the accompaniments! Our waitress Sidnie was super helpful! She made us feel welcome and comfortable being there. She was helpful with everything we asked and had some great ideas to try. We got "the Cowboy" it is a 45 day dry aged 45 oz steak, my husband loved it. I got the 10oz filet minion and it was cooked to perfection. Our appetizer was 3 different kinds of the Wagyu we picked a low middle and higher priced selection and every bit of it was amazing! We would love to go back again but we'll have to save up for next time. This place is not cheap! But it was well worth it!

Tony's Pool Party, Mojito, Crab Cake, 22 oz Cowboy Steak, Salmon, Creme Brulee This was phenomenal. We were in the same private room we were in before, but this time the table was arranged as one long linear rectangle rather than the circle tables we had before. The crab cake was mindblowingly good and so tasty and everything you want in a crab cake. Good portion too. The cowboy steak was absolutely everything--perfectly medium rare, so tender and juicy and such a huge amount. My friend's salmon was wonderful. The Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus were excellent. Creme brulee so yummy. The drinks are so fun!!! Tony's pool party is the blue light up one, and it's so yummy and coconut-y. The mojito was a little too strong for me, but my friend loved it so I gave him mine too. Servers are so attentive and efficient. Always wonderful dining here!

My family makes this a MUST stop and eat when visiting the Dallas area. Food is always good and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
Fantastic.
When they say things are big in Texas. This steakhouse is as big as it gets. The food was amazing and Louise was the best waiter ever.
Treat yourself to a wonderful meal at Nick and Sam's
Exceeded all of my expectations. A friend and I had reservations for a Monday night at 7:00. The restaurant was mostly full, the atmosphere was upscale, the lights were low and we were seated immediately. We were sat close to the wonderful piano player, entertaining the patrons and were able to see a lot of the hustle and bustle behind the kitchen counter. The first item we ordered were Martinis, The Barbie and the Cotton Candy. The presentation on both martinis was fun and the drinks themselves were sweet and delicious. Next we enjoyed the Caviar Sample Plate and Park Cities Sushi Roll. The sushi was extremely fresh, the shrimp was crispy and all of the sauces were well proportioned. The caviar and crackers were fishy, salty, and moist, accompanied with crunchy crackers to enjoy the multiple flavors. Our main meal (we shared the steak) was a 26oz Porterhouse, cooked to a beautiful red/pink medium rare. The steak is cut for you at the table and served hot and fresh. Our sides were the au gratin potatoes and the brussels sprouts. The Potatoes were creamy, cheesy and warm, the brussels sprouts were just the right consistency of roasted yet faintly soft, the pieces of pork belly and the chili sauce were wonderful. We ended our amazing dinner with the 7 layer Celebration Cake and of course added the Cotton Candy! I do not have a single complaint nor would I change a thing. The service was top notch. Absolutely treat yourself to a meal at Nick and Sam's.
I usually live in the Austin area, but I went to Dallas
I usually live in the Austin area, but I went to Dallas with my girlfriend a few days ago to celebrate our anniversary. This was on a Friday night that we died at Nick and Sam's and I'm so happy that we did first stepping in I was greeted by a very, very nice staff, they always had a smile on their face and did care that you were being taken care of expertly. The ambience is very nice and very upscale really makes you feel like your spending your money at the right place but the reason that it is a five stars is because of the food. The food is absolutely delicious. I had a steak as well as my girlfriend had the king salmon. It was absolutely delicious. The food does take a little bit of time to come out so keep that in mind but you can always have an appetizer. It makes sense why it took about 45 minutes for it to come out because it was fully packed on Friday night at 7 o'clock, so that makes perfect sense and I can see why you need to make reservation and why it's fully packed because the food in the service is absolutely amazing. Come here and you won't be disappointed. I will be back next time. I'm in Dallas.

Food, service, ambiance.
They have it ALL. I always recommend Nick and Sam's and I love it myself. This is always good and it's consistent and the food is incredible. Love staying at Marriott Dallas Uptown and Nick and Sam's is right next door.
Came here with a couple of friends for a celebratory dinner.
We had a reservation so there was no wait. The inside is fancy, but casual at the same time. Tables are pretty close together, but we still enjoyed our experience. Our server greeted us and did a great job of explaining the menu to us. It was our first time so our server brought out a caviar plate with the bread basket and thought that was a nice touch. The protein platter was very interesting and our server did a very good job of explaining the cuts to us. We decided to go with the 48oz porterhouse to share between the three of us. For our sides, we chose the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and sautéed broccoli. All the sides were great, the steak was delicious and so tender. It was also cooked perfectly. Service was pretty perfect, as well. We will definitely be returning.
in the restaurant, the whole atmosphere was pleasant.
The hostess and the waitstaff were excellent and attentive. The food was delicious.
I think it's a "one and done" for me.
I'll start with the good. Service was phenomenal! I love the detailed walkthrough of the menu. Everyone around us was very attentive and intuitive. To their credit, we were asked multiple times whether or not we were enjoying ourselves. The blackberry margarita was good, not too sweet and strong. We shared creme brûlée for dessert and it was my favorite meal of the 3 courses. We sat near the kitchen entrance in a dark area so I don't have any comments about ambience. I think the system was based on arrival time and party size. There's no way around it, the steak was bland. I wish I'd ordered a topping for it. The short rib appetizer was salty, but tender. I guess they balanced each other. The fried rice that comes with the short rib was absolutely amazing. I'd eat that as a standalone dish. The wagyu dumplings were okay, not memorable. Overall, I understand how reviews can be inconsistent for this place because I could see how some people are probably regulars and how some wouldn't return.
Our first time at Nick and Sam's
First impressions, too crowded, too dark, and too noisy. Waited in a crowded bar for about 10 mintutes...not a problem on the wait time. Once we were seated, our table was right in the path of staff and guests, not happy. Asked to be relocated, and with no push back, was seated at a better table. This place is mad on a Sat night. It's so busy and loud, but after a while, we started to enjoy it. It's why you come to a place like this. The waiter was great, the drinks and appetizers were great. We just enjoyed taking it all in. You saw young and old, high sophisticated and casual diners. Main course came and we loved it. After dinner, before we left, a manager approached and asked about our experience. We shared what we thought and he offered us some cake to go...it was a nice gesture that we took him up on. The chocolate cake was delicious and could have served 4. What we expected is what we got, and then some. I would definitely return! If you like to see a bustling, live atmosphere with great food, this is the place to be. Oh, by the way, got to meet Matt Jones, QB for the Patriots...you never know who will be there.

First time here.
I go to steakhouses a lot for my work/entertaining. I have to say this was the BEST one I have been to in as long as I can remember. The food was great, as you would expect from a solid steakhouse, but it was more than that. The service was above and beyond , small things . The presentation , the stunningly beautiful staff, great music and lighting . The manager stopped to check on us. The waiter was articulate and timely. They checked every box . I told my friends that this is my new Dallas place when I'm in town. Why would I go anywhere else . They agreed , 10/10 experience.

The food, service and ambiance were to die for! The service is much faster than typical fine dining but we will be back ASAP!
Nick & Sam's is strictly for the non-discerning Dallasites
Nick & Sam's is strictly for the non-discerning Dallasites who love an obnoxiously loud dining experience of huge, overpriced food served in a plastic-pretentious clamshell of cacophony that rivals a 1970s Who concert. Very popular with the now divorced crowd that were once the balloon smugglers and scissor men of the '90's, trying to recapture their youth in a fancier joint while wearing loose fitting clothes. Don't bother dressing up for a celebration dinner. Patrons will be wearing T-shirts, tennis shoes, even shorts. It's a joke with the punch line being your bill. You'll see.
Best steakhouse in Texas.
This is the best steakhouse in the Dallas metro. You’re wasting your time going anywhere else. The service is incredible, the food is amazing, and the ambience is top-notch. Do yourself a favor and make sure you visit Nick and Sam’s.
Typical steakhouse
This is a well known steak house in Dallas. Met a group of friends for the evening. Because we had a large group, we could not be seated until everyone got there. Some were stuck in traffic so we hung in the bar which was fine. Good drinks there. But as people showed up, we literally couldn't be seated until we were down to just one person outstanding. Servicer was quite rude, not unlike what you would expect in an old timey steakhouse. Tables were so close together, it was difficult to get out once seated. It was very noisy as well because of this. A friend and I ordered a bottle of white wine to share which was taken away, not kept in ice by the table. We constantly had to ask for refills and couldn't really see where the wine was taken. Most had meat or fish, sashimi which looked ok. I am vegetarian and was served a spicy tofu vegetable dish which I really couldn't eat because the sauce was so thick and sweet. They did, however, serve a complimentary caviar serving which was the highlight.
Excellent Birthday celebration ended on a sad note
Once you get past their version of show-and-tell and get to the star attraction, actually eating the food, the experience is very good. Pricey!!! The steak tartare appetizer and the caprese salad were hits with everyone. The steak portions are quite large and easily shareable unless you want lots of leftovers. A don’t miss side is their damn good fries. Our party of four ate half the order; the rest were taken home. Do try the heirloom carrots. Like us, I suspect you will be glad you did. We were celebrating a birthday. I must say I was shocked and somewhat disappointed that such a high-end restaurant did not offer a complementary desert. Too bad that our evening ended on such a disappointing note.
Jam Packed but worth it!
Had a 8:30 pm reservation and arrived at 8:15 to a very packed lobby and entire restaurant area. We were told they were running at least 30 minutes behind. Surprisingly I was able to get 2 cocktails quickly. We were seated fashionably late by a wonderful hostess at a great table. Barbara was our server. She was quite attentive and friendly and did a superb job! The food was excellent. Overall everything was great despite the large crowds.
No happy ending
This was my go to steak house. The order was for a med rare chateau breiand. Was disappointed with the burnt chateau breand. They offered to replace the order but the wait wasn’t convenient.
Lovely place
So these fine dining places are keeping Dallas alive because this city struggles with good food! After three days of being unsatisfied with multiple places we went to we decided to step it up to attempt to get something in our bellies because like general cuisine just wasn’t cutting it. So that leads us to why we chose here. Our Uber driver recommended this place and so we went! Upon walking in one would expect a vibe, I meant dim lighting, greeted immediately then shortly seated thereafter. Now after this part there was a hiccup in our service where we were like where’s our server…but after my coworker voiced her concerns we noticed an immediate improvement. Now drinks, are pretty solid. I got the bouton iced teacher but honestly tasted like just peach tea soo I wouldn’t get again because it wasn’t worth the price at alll. But my friends liked the margs and the old fashioned. I just ended up getting Jameson neat because you can’t go wrong with that. So that’s that was that. So I love how they come out and do the whole meats situation. They explain all their types of cuts, prices, styles, etc- if you look at my face in the picture you can definitely see me trying to digest it all! But I loved it! We ended up getting steaks. Staff here makes you cut your steak while they are around so that you can ensure it being cooked the way you went it. I had to send mine back because it was a little too red but it was quickly fixed- my the other three steaks at the table were perfect. The creamed corn was also good. Also! When they ask about allergies please be honest! All ingredients aren’t listed! So my friend ordered the Brussel sprouts and they had like some kinda nuts on them and it’s not listed on the menu but the server did ask did anyone have allergies… so we had to send them back to be remade but we blame my friend! So please be honest with things you are allergic to. The green salad and the Cesar salad was good as well. They enjoyed the calamari and these rolls things as well. The bread is also fresh, and we were also brought an app at the beginning that the table loved i just didn’t try. I also love how they celebrate birthdays! A cute dessert and little show! None of us got dessert because we were too full so I can’t comment on that. The bathrooms were clean but just like the rest of the restaurant dim lighting. So clearly, expect to pay… lol. Two drinks per person plus dinner and a side can easily run you over $500 (four of us) but we all agreed that the food was worth it and was the first time in like three four days we had anything good in Dallas. Bill came and co workers said it looked good so we closed out. I looked after closing out and saw we had been charged for an extra glass of wine. I think because there’s sometimes more hands on deck than one our server stated that he thought we had ordered another glass but we didn’t… so he ended up comping some dessert for us to take bc it would be too much to redo the bill after splitting it so make sure you double check your bill before paying! Other than that! All is well! Dalton was an amazing manager and kept checking on us and made us feel welcome. I think our server name was Iam? Idk- but he’s pictured and he was great so please shout him out! One last slight negative was this girl who was serving the table next to me and kept bumping me. After like the third time of her knocking me i adjusted my seat but I felt as though she needed to adjust her path… but that’s that :) Got a cute picture taken orr my request by the lady at the front to wrap up the night and I finally went home full and satisfied for once in dalllas!
Excessive Wait Time
I made a reservation on Saturday, 9/16/23 to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We got to the restaurant a few minutes before our reservation but it took us nearly 10 minutes to check-in. Once we checked-in, we were told to wait at the bar. We waited over an hour to get seated. The bar was extremely crowded that everyone kept bumping into one another. The staff seemed very unorganized. I expected a better operations system considering the reputation this establishment has. Once we left, valet took over 30 mins trying to find our car. It appeared that the valet team lost the ticket number associated with our car key. The experience was very disappointing and this is the last time I will be visiting this restaurant. I would not recommend this place to any friends or family.
OMG! 🤤
Living in Alberta Canada, I have been to a fair amount of steakhouse restaurants. Well Nick and Sam’s has been put up in my top three (have to go back to the others for another review). Our hostess, Megan was fabulous! I am still amazed at how she was able to walk us through the various cuts of meats an the seafood. The Waygu, was to die for! My biggest suggestions, bring an appetite, and good friends to share the meal! Everything really is “bigger” in Texas!

I was in Dallas on business and went to dinner with a vendor. He wanted steak and Nick & Sam's was very near to my hotel so we popped in for dinner. It's a very neat venue. It's quite dark, but I could still see the menu. They had a gentleman playing a grand piano which added a very nice touch. Shortly after being seated they brought caviar service to the table. It was a delightful touch. It came with toast points and several accompaniments. Loved the salty pop of flavor. We all order the same thing. Wedge salad and ribeye. The wedge was good. Nothing spectacular, but a solid rendition. The steak, on the other hand, was one of the best I've had in years! It was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection! We added fries, and there were enough for 4-5 people! The fries were also cooked perfectly. Light and crisp with a soft, pillowy center. In my haste to eat, I forgot to take pictures, but if you are looking for a perfect steak and spectacular service, give Nick & Sam's a try. They've got a lot to choose from and I will be back for the tomahawk ribeye!
The Bar area is loud!
We had a reservation, but due to only one person handling valet we waited over 15 minutes for our car to be parked. Walked in the restaurant late for our reservation by 20 minutes (you're only allowed a 15 minute grace period), and was told we needed to sit in the bar since our reservation was cancelled, or we had to wait until a table became available. Bar has loud music playing, which I have never seen in a high-end steakhouse. Food was excellent, definitely priced on the higher side. Service from our servers was excellent. Don't sit in the bar.
Bachelor Trip Dinner - February 2023
My groomsmen and I went to Nick and Sams while in Dallas for the Arkansas Baseball games. We had a party of 8 and had to make a special reservation. That process was easy and painless. We arrived at the restaurant on time and were seated within a couple of minutes. The only real complaint for the entire dining experience is the table choice. All 8 of us were sat at a table that may have sat 6 comfortably. We were given no other options for tables and had to sit here near the corner of the room. Servers and other guest kept having to squeeze by the entire night and it was quite annoying. I have been to Nick and Sams on other occasions and knew what to expect when it came to the atmosphere. It is lively at night and can sometimes be hard to hear. We all got drinks and appetizers fairly quick. We shared a few sides and each had our own meal. Everything concerning the food was great. The king crab elote is stellar. My ribeye was cooked perfect and the drinks were very good. Will be back for special occasions, but not with a group over 4. It gets too crowded.
This place was amazing.
I got the Dirk and it was beyond expectations it was so good and the appetizers were amazing. The ambiance was good and relaxing my wife and I enjoyed our 23rd anniversary. A lot of famous celebrities there I met on of my all time favorite wrestler Mr Rick Flair. If your in Dallas I really do recommend it.
Best steak in Dallas!
Nick & Sam's food and service is exceptional - something for everyone! The perfect place to celebrate special occasions!
We were in the other night and had Julia the other night
We were in the other night and had Julia the other night she was very knowledgeable on the menu and really sweet and nice she made our first time experience lovely and now whenever we visit we will be requesting her. 10/10 Food was amazing also!
Service was ok.
My steaks was cooked perfect on the inside but didn't have the outside crust you are looking for this kind of money. Our scallops were cold but our sides were excellent.
Nick & Sam's is a SCENE and it excels at that.
The problem is, it's not at all real. Everything, except for the steaks, is like a set of a movie rather than the real thing. From the moment you walk in the door, you're impressed by the rooms and racks of very expensive wine, then the front desk women don't give you the attention you deserve, especially knowing you will easily be spending well over $100/person. When they do show you to the table, they don't even glance back to see that you're following. It's not exactly rude, as you may find at Peter Luger or some other famous steakhouse, but it's a show of rudeness or brusqueness. The waiter has his shtick, but it's not actually connected to the food. They often can't answer the simplest of questions such as the temperature of the steak at medium rare. The wine list is voluminous but the servers are of little help distinguishing between a red blend and the grapes in the blend and a Cabernet Sauvignon, both bottles may cost $300 and up. (There are bottles under $80, but they are easily marked up 800% from wholesale.)The caviar bar and plate are a nice touch, but you can't eat it without the right silverware. The big forks and knives on the table just make a big, weird salad as you try to reach across the table to assemble some of everything on an irregular, broken Melba toast. The caviar is good, but don't think you're getting sevruga or beluga. It's a knockoff. Good (not great) nonetheless.Between courses, it was really difficult to get the attention of our friendly waiter. We had long stretches between courses and even ran out of wine at one point, finally flagging down a plate server to bring us a new bottle. It arrived just as the main courses were coming, so we were a bit rushed to taste it as there was a lot of chaos at the table with the plates flying down. When the main course and sides came, it was a big production with multiple servers bringing the steaks at the same time. (They would do this in New York at all the best steakhouses there too). The servers each had flashlights and implored us to cut open the steak at the thickest part to make sure it was done exactly right. But they really didn't wait to see if it was right. In my case, the light was off my steak even before I had finished my cut so I never really saw the doneness in the light. Then they make a show going around the table serving everyone a dollop of sides. It's all well and good but really chaotic, especially when you're at a banquette booth and have three servers. Then, they invariably miss someone or some side, which they did in every case. Oops. But that's ok, we can pass the plates. (But why the pretentious show).Dessert was ok. Ice cream cake with a burnt meringue (ala Alaska). Tasted fine. As it was also a birthday and anniversary, we were expecting some sort of acknowledgment of that, but I guess that was forgotten in the chaos of the Friday night crowd. The room was extremely lively with a mix of very large tables of pseudo celebrities in cowboy hats and Botox and athletes in their atheleisurewear and arm candy. Clearly some tables were ordering multiple bottles of $1000 wine since they had preset the four foot decanting devices. But if they have such great wine and wine serving apparatus, why no visible sommeliers or even good quality wine glasses? There's almost nothing more frustrating than seeing a great and varied wine list and no one to help you choose and then having to drink really nice wine in a heavy, beaded, poorly sized glass. At these prices, they could afford some Riedel. All that said, the steaks were quite excellent and surprisingly not crazy expensive (compared to the rest of the menu). Stick to the center cut ribeye or New York strip. Avoid the wagyu - that's just crazy pretentious. Donate your money somewhere, maybe to an animal shelter. The sides are also excellent, especially the king crab elote and garlic mashed potatoes. Next time I'm getting cotton candy.
This is it
If you want a great steak dinner in Dallas and go somewhere else, you are doing it wrong. This is were the locals go. Expect high price tags, but you’ll get service and food to match.
Is this suppose to be one of the best steakhouses in
Is this suppose to be one of the best steakhouses in Dallas? I guess and bet not. There is no table maintenance, if you finish a drink, the empty glass will stay in front of you till the end of time. There is no punctuality, they serve your steaks to you when you are enjoying your appetizers. And to finish it off, I walked the wrong way to find the bathroom and I saw waitstaff grabbing butter by the hand!! Yes, they grab butter by hand. Unreal. Dallas absolutely needs better hospitality. Running a steakhouse like a Long Island Greek Diner?Absolutely not.Try Al Biernat's, Town Hearth or any other steakhouse run away from this joke of an establishment.

The atmosphere was about the only good thing about our experience here. The wait staff were very on top of things throughout our night, but our waitress was just being overly nice. Lack of clarity on gluten free options on the menu. For the prices, the food was not nearly worth it. Fried lobster was extremely disappointing and steak was tough.
Freddie was an amazing server.
Was on top of everything and was very accommodating, great service. Will be coming back soon
Very consistent, food as well as the service.
Celebrated a Birthday, 6 guests and our guest loved the ambiance, service and food. $1200 we'll spent. Our waiter Brandon was very attentive which helped make the experience memorable.
This was my second visit to Nick & Sam's.
I chose to celebrate my birthday dinner here and even with a 9:30p reservation for one, I still was not seated until 10:20p. Upon checking in I was told it would be an additional 30 minutes no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. Upon letting the hostess know that I had another reservation that I could not be late for, I was told I could cancel my reservation and come another time since there was no work around for the delay. I felt no sincerity, no apology, and overall felt pushed off. This again was my second visit where I've come to realize while the food, ambiance, and drinks are amazing the customer service and care for patrons is just not there. Not worth it in my opinion.
Tried it and will not be back.
It's hard to tell if they are a night club, a restaurant, a steakhouse or fine dining establishment. Most women were half dressed(including employees and receptionists). Gave strip club vibes...For the cost-I expected much better service, This could be because they were too over booked. My husband had to take his hat off but we saw SEVERAL men with hats on as we left. Then we had the "meat presentation" that left blood drippings on our table cloth. Gross! We were not checked on frequently enough at all...and at the end we were charged for 2 additional drinks ($34 each so $68 bucks) that we did not order. It took sooooo long to see our server we decided to give up and leave without getting the check corrected. Clearly she was too busy to check in and see if everything was ok. One and done-we will not be back. Save your money!! Don't ask how much we spent.......
Anniversary Dinner
Dinner was AWESOME! Tomahawk Steak was cooked perfectly! Bacon and Eggs appetizer( Candied Bacon with Salmon Caviar)was tasty and different! Would definitely go there again!
Awful Business Dinner Experience
This was probably my last trip to Nick & Sam's. Its extremely unfortunate that I brought a client of mine to dine at Nick & Sam's last night and we both received one of the worst dining experiences we have had. My clients and I have pretty high expectations and standards when it comes to business dinners/meetings and were assured that Nick & Sam's is a premier dining destination. I should have done more research as this was FAR from the case last night. I had a reservation at 8:30 for dinner to which we were sat under a very large chandelier, which was pretty much the only real lighting in the dining room, and our table, as well as my client and I, were lit up as though we had a spot light on them. From an ambiance stand point, a TOTAL miss. It was odd and uncomfortable. Our waiter was flustered and made us feel as though we were just another job for him. No character, just blah and non attentive. We had to flag other waiters for our drinks, to which our empty drinks were left on the table. Also, we had to ask for bread plates for the bread, as well as a butter knife, and additional plates to share our apps. We rarely saw our waiter except for when he was helping other tables. Unfortunately, that is not the worst part. EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS ICE COLD. My steak was so cold it did not melt the truffle butter on top. The food was unacceptable and not edible. The manager came by and asked if I wanted anything else to which I said no. My client meeting had all but been ruined. Additionally, he seemed annoyed with me which only added to my distaste for this restaurant. Owning a large development company as well as other ventures, I had really hoped to find a home to entertain and host my clients and friends; however, the lack of professionalism, dismal quality of food, and poor service has all but ensured that I will not be back, nor will I recommend to any of my business partners and friends.
Very disappointing
Reserved a table for an important business meeting. Waited 40 minutes being told ‘just 5 minutes’ . Eventually left without being served. Very disappointing.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Nick & Sam's Dallas at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Nick & Sam's Dallas page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Nick & Sam's Dallas to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Nick & Sam's Dallas!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
