Highlands Windsor Reviews
Beautiful course.
Challenging and fun. Lots of bunkers. Great staff at check-in, cart service and bar. Outside water and ice self-service.
New to the town first time playing this course it is in
New to the town first time playing this course it is in fantastic condition. Staff is friendly very helpful and awesome. Kudos to the people who keeps the place maintained. Greens are in great condition. I can't wait until we have dry condition, it feels like it's going to be fast. It rain the night before and light rain though out the round, and they let us drive the cart on the grass. I still can't believe this is a public course. Definitely play this course if in the area.
I 'am not a golfer but live on this Golf course!! I go with
I 'am not a golfer but live on this Golf course!! I go with my husband and friends taking photos and offering my expert advice,, was amazed by the quality of the grass and greens from other courses in our surrounding area! Keep it up , good jobs!!!

I have golfed at courses around American for 6 years using a onewheel(hoverboard) a push cart. This is the first course in my experience this did not allow me to use my onewheel. The guy I talked to or manager that came to tell me this was nice and took my back to my truck to put it in there. I would have gladly payed a cart fee if that was offered so that I can use it. Just sad to see I have golfed here 3 times before with it with no issues. Seems management got strict or something maybe focus on the missing grass on a lot of the holes then someone using a onewheel.
Golfing with onewheel what’s wrong with it?
I have played golf with my onewheel (hoverboard) for 6 years at courses all across America. This is the first course ever that did not allow me to play with it. Said it was a liability. I easily would have payed a cart fee if that was offered but they only said I can’t play with it. Manager or guy that talked to me was super nice offered me a ride to put it in my truck so ups to him but the rest was crap. Can’t believe this is the first course I have gone to that has turned it down.
They charged us twice for the round and range balls.
An extra $107.00. They admitted it and apologized and said they would refund the second charge which was great but then they only partially refunded it. When my husband called again, they actually made a joke about us wanting the remainder of the fraudulent charge returned to us as though that was absurd, offering range balls instead. As though i would trust them with my financial information ever again after such dishonest practices.
Great time on the course and awesome service in the bar
Great time on the course and awesome service in the bar aftwaeds. Highland Meadows would be one of the top public courses in the area, except for the greens. I understand they can't control public ignorance when it comes to repairing ball marks.... But the greens are really bad.
So far, I only come here for the clubhouse restaurant.
By far some of the best service you'll find in the area. Attentive, friendly, and absolutely committed to making your experience the best possible. There are many, many menu options catering items from the carnivore to the vegetarian palette. The serving portions are generous, well presented and most importantly, appetizing! Don't worry, these aren't golf course prices either. The food is priced slightly lower than one would find throughout the area for similar portions and quality. It's a win-win! I've been going to this establishment for nearly a year now, at least monthly, sometimes more frequently, and they have been consistent in every aspect of the experience.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Highlands Windsor at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Highlands Windsor page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* ElaborateHouse74, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ElaborateHouse74 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ElaborateHouse74 for any questions Peter may have as ElaborateHouse74 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ElaborateHouse74 now uses their connections at Highlands Windsor to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ElaborateHouse74 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ElaborateHouse74 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ElaborateHouse74's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Highlands Windsor!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
