All’Antico Vinaio Firenze Reviews
The best "cold" (room temp) sandwich I have ever had.
I went in the middle of the day, so waiting, ordering, and getting the food took less than 10 minutes. Very cool interior which was reminiscent of a deli counter with various meats and toppings everywhere and you could see them building the sandwiches right in front of you. The sandwiches. I got two. The first was a porchetta sandwich. This was not my favorite. Still good, but didn't quite do it for me. The other sandwich was amazing. It was a truffle salami, truffle honey, and pecorino cream sandwich. The bread is a better focaccia. Not as thick, slightly crispier, but so much flavor and still very moist. The honey I think was the x factor. The meat and cheese were very good, but the added sweetness took it to a whole new level. Absolutely delicious and a must visit. See some sights and head over for a top 5 sandwich.
We loved this sandwich place so much that we went three
We loved this sandwich place so much that we went three times -- twice in Florence and once in Rome. That's how good it was! My husband's favorite is the Paradiso sandwich. It comes with a generous amount of cream cheese and pistachios, and he especially enjoyed the crunchy pistachio bits in every bite. My favorite is the Inferno sandwich, which has just the right amount of spice and delicious eggplant -- such a great combo. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any flavor here; everything we tried was excellent. The portions are huge. Technically, one sandwich is big enough to share, but we were so hungry that we each had one. And let me tell you, one sandwich goes a long way -- I was still full the next morning! If you're in Florence or Rome, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.
in a few simple words " its the best you can possibly get".
All Antico Vinaio is as good as it gets. knee buckling sandwiches every time
Best sandwich I've ever had! Well worth waiting in the line
Best sandwich I've ever had! Well worth waiting in the line no matter how long it is.

The place was a madhouse 3 storefronts all with lines down the street but oh my was it worth it. The freshest best "calzone-which" I have ever tasted. The mamma is ham, burrata, roasted potato cream and zucchini wow...do not let the lines or chaos steer you away the crew inside we're awesome and the "calzone-which" even tastier!
Don't let the line scare you--it moves FAST and it's worth
Don't let the line scare you--it moves FAST and it's worth every second. This place lives up to the hype. The sandwiches are absolutely loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients and served on warm, perfectly baked schiacciata bread. Whether you go for the classic prosciutto and truffle cream or try something more adventurous, you really can't go wrong. The staff keeps things moving with energy and efficiency, so even if the line looks long, you'll have a sandwich in your hands before you know it. Grab a spot nearby to sit and savor every bite--it's a true Florence must-do.
BEST SANDWICH I've ever eaten!!Absolutely worth the wait!
BEST SANDWICH I've ever eaten!!Absolutely worth the wait! Line looked long, but we were through it in 15 minutes, and the service was great! Sandwiches bigger than your face, and with the most fresh and delicious ingredients! Everyone up and down the street was eating a panino from this place, which ought to be a clue to how phenomenal it is! Just go!!
Sandwiches were very good.
Line moves fast. FYI, you can also make your own sandwich so you don't need to be pressured to order from their menu.
I got the Viola sandwich and a coke for $17.
05. It was pretty good, but I'm not sure if it was worth the Tik Tok hype. I got there around 11:00 am and there wasn't much of a crowd yet. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before ordering and then I got my food basically right away. However, I passed by later in the day and there were multiple lines out the door, wrapping around the corner of the building. Seating inside the actual restaurant was very limited, but it was easy to find a place outside nearby to sit, as it is just a sandwich. Overall, service was fast, food was pretty good, and prices weren't terrible. I'd go again if there wasn't a crowd, but I don't think it's worth it to wait very long.
This is a very popular sandwich shop with a lot of hype, so
This is a very popular sandwich shop with a lot of hype, so I had to give them a try when I was in Florence. When you get here, you'll see multiple storefronts. We ordered at the kiosk, which was convenient, easy, and the line was much shorter. Afterwards, they will call your number when the order is ready, so stay alert. It wasn't super busy, so I got my sandwich in 10 mins. I ordered the Inferno sandwich, which includes porchetta with spicy cream and eggplant. I thought the sandwich was good, it was packed and very filling. The spicy kick was also a nice touch. Ask them to cut the sandwich in half so that you can see that fantastic cross section! In retrospect, I wouldn't say that it was the best sandwich that I've had. Maybe my expectations were too high due to the hype. Still, I did enjoy the sandwich and would recommend them. However, if the line is too long, there are many other sandwich shops in town to check out.
